At 10:30 am on August 24, 2021, Conch Venture and Changzhi High-tech Zone signed the "Cement Kiln Synergistic Comprehensive Utilization of Fly Ash and Solid Waste Resource Project Cooperation Agreement", planning and constructing a 100,000 tons/year solid waste disposal project. Including solid waste and fly ash from domestic waste incineration.
The signing ceremony was held in the meeting room of the Changzhi High-tech Zone Management Committee. Zhang Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Changzhi High-tech Zone, Xie Qi, Member of the Party Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, District Investment Promotion Department, District Administrative Approval Bureau, District Ecological Environment Branch, District Comprehensive Office, etc. Zhang Keke, Deputy General Manager of Conch Venture, Fang Jun, North China Regional Director of Conch Environmental Protection, Cao Wei, Deputy Minister of Conch Environmental Protection Investment Development Department, Wang Kechun, Chief Engineer of Anhui Conch Building Materials Design Institute, Wang Wei, Deputy General Manager of Hejin Haichuang attended and witnessed the signing.
At the signing ceremony, both parties first watched the promotional video of Changzhi High-tech Zone, and Xie Qi and Zhang Keke delivered speeches respectively.
Xie Qi said that as the second largest economy in Shanxi Province, Changzhi City is one of the country's old industrial cities and resource-based cities' industrial transformation and upgrading demonstration areas. The successful signing of the project will help accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise and further promote the development of Changzhi High-tech Zone in the direction of "resource-saving and environment-friendly".
Zhang Keke first thanked the district government for its trust and support for Conch's entrepreneurship, and briefly introduced the basic situation of Conch's entrepreneurship. He said that Conch Venture has been committed to the development of green environmental protection for a long time. The co-processing of solid waste in cement kilns is in line with the country's concept of promoting the development of ecological civilization. It has mastered the core technology of solid and hazardous waste treatment and has rich practical experience. The successful signing of the Changzhi project has achieved the "zero" breakthrough of Conch Venture in the solid and hazardous waste project in Shanxi. It is of significant strategic significance. Conch Venture will go all out to build and operate the project and develop the environmental protection cause of Changzhi High-tech Zone Contribute. It is hoped that the district party committee, district government and relevant departments will provide support in project planning, land, application for approval and construction, etc., to promote the early start of the project, early construction, and early production.
